Frequently Asked Questions
What is opportunity charging with Li-ion?
Opportunity charging is interim charging during short breaks. With Li-ion, this can often be done without adverse effects, which increases uptime.
Is Li-ion always better than lead-acid?
Not always. Lead-acid can be perfectly fine for 1-shift operations. For 2-3 shifts, Li-ion is usually more practical due to opportunity charging.
What do I need for a safe charging station?
A fixed loading zone with space, suitable connection and clear demarcation/work agreements.
