LPG forklift 1.8 tonnes

The 1.8-tonne LPG forklift is a compact truck for mixed work: slightly more lifting capacity than the 1.5-tonne truck, and still manoeuvrable on the loading dock and in the hall. You rent it per day, per week or per month; every rental forklift is delivered VA-keur inspected.

When do you choose a 1.8-tonne LPG forklift?

• Pallets up to 1,800 kg: full Euro pallets with boxes, beverages or parts. The lifting capacity applies at a load centre of 500 mm.
• Mixed indoor and outdoor use: loading and unloading outdoors and putting away indoors in a well-ventilated hall.
• Short-term rental or peak period: handy as a second truck during busy periods. You can swap an empty gas cylinder in a few minutes, with no charging time.

The technology in brief

You rent this class from us as a Hyundai from the L-7M series (1.5 to 2 tonnes). According to Hyundai, that series has a 37.3 kW LPG engine, wet disc brakes that require little maintenance and a seat switch that blocks driving, lifting and tilting when the driver stands up. The lift height depends on the mast: in this series from approximately 2.5 to 7 metres. We set out in the quote which mast, tyres and options your rental truck gets.

Need something lighter or heavier?

For lighter work, use the LPG forklift 1.5 tonnes; for heavier pallets, rent the 2 tonnes or 2.5 tons. All LPG models and rates are listed under Rent an LPG forklift.

What to tell us in your enquiry

• The weight and dimensions of the heaviest load
• The desired lift height and the lowest clearance height (door, gate or container)
• The surface: level floor, block paving or unpaved ground
• The rental period and the delivery address
