About the LPG heftruck 2,5 ton
The 2.5-tonne LPG forklift is the all-rounder among rental forklifts: strong enough for full pallets up to 2,500 kg and compact enough for the loading dock, the hall and the yard. You can rent it by the day, by the week or by the month; the monthly rate applies to rentals of 3 months or more.
When should you choose a 2.5-tonne LPG forklift?
- Indoors and outdoors on the same day: loading and unloading in the yard and then putting the goods away in the hall. Indoors, you only work with LPG in a well-ventilated space.
- Keep working without a charging break: you can swap an empty gas cylinder in a few minutes. Handy for long days or shift work.
- Pallets up to 2,500 kg: the lifting capacity applies at a load centre of 500 mm, the middle of an evenly loaded pallet one metre deep. If your load is longer, or if an attachment is fitted to the truck, the lifting capacity is lower.
The technology in brief
You rent this class from us as a Hyundai from the L-9A series (2.5 to 3.5 tonnes). According to Hyundai's specifications, this series has a 2.4-litre, 44 kW LPG engine that meets the Stage V emission standard, wet disc brakes and an automatic parking brake with hill-start assist. The lift height depends on the mast: in this series, from approximately 3 to 7 metres. Which mast, tyres and options your rental truck gets is set out in the quote.

Is your heaviest load close to 2,500 kg, or do you work with a clamp, rotator or long forks? Then go one size up: the LPG forklift 3 tonnes or 3.5 tons. If you only work indoors, the electric forklift is quieter and you drive without exhaust fumes. For heavy work on rough terrain, the diesel forklift is a better fit.
