LPG forklift 4 to 5 tonnes for rent

With a 4- to 5-tonne LPG forklift, you can lift loads that are too heavy for the compact class: bundles of timber, steel, concrete products and heavy crates. The truck delivers the lifting capacity of a heavy forklift and can still work both indoors and outdoors. The rental price is on request, because the configuration varies from job to job.

When should you choose a 4- to 5-tonne LPG forklift?

• Loads from 3,500 to 5,000 kg: heavy pallets, long bundles and machine parts.
• Mixed indoor and outdoor use: loading and unloading outdoors and putting away indoors in a well-ventilated hall. You can swap an empty gas cylinder in a few minutes.
• No charging point available: at a temporary location or on a project, you do not need any charging infrastructure.

Pay attention to size, weight and floor

A 4- to 5-tonne forklift is wider, taller and heavier than a 2.5- or 3-tonne truck. So check in advance the clearance height and the width of doors and aisles, and the load-bearing capacity of the floor or the loading dock. Give us these measurements in your enquiry; we will then match the mast and the tyres to them. You can read more about masts in free levy and triplex mast.

Lighter, heavier or a different drive type?

Up to 3,500 kg, the LPG forklift 3.5 tonnes is more compact. For loads over 5 tonnes and for heavy outdoor work, rent a diesel forklift (up to 30 tonnes); if you mainly work indoors, take a look at the electric forklifts of 4 and 5 tonnes. All LPG models are listed under Rent an LPG forklift.
