Forklift rental for a project, trade fair or event
Short answer: for a project or event you rent a forklift per day, per week or per month, from €70 per day excluding VAT. You request a quote with the location, the period, the heaviest load and the lift height; after your approval we agree the delivery date and the unloading point, and the machine is delivered and collected afterwards. For a hall or trade fair floor an electric forklift or pallet truck is suitable, for an outdoor site an LPG or diesel forklift. Every machine is delivered VA-keur inspected.

How does renting a forklift for a project work?
- Enquiry. You submit the form or call. Provide the location, the period (date of delivery and collection), the heaviest load with dimensions, the lift height and whether you work indoors or outdoors.
- Proposal. You receive a quote with the machine, the rental price per day, week or month and the transport costs for delivery and collection.
- Approval and scheduling. After your approval we agree the delivery date, the time slot and the unloading point with you. Let us know any special circumstances, such as delivery time windows, a closed-off site or a trade fair organiser who arranges access.
- Delivery and collection. The forklift is delivered VA-keur inspected with instruction on its operation. Afterwards it is collected on the agreed day.

For which projects and events is a forklift rented?
Trade fairs and events
Setting up and dismantling stands, stages and tents; unloading lorries with materials. On a trade fair floor an electric forklift or an electric pallet truck is the choice: no emissions and non-marking tyres for the floor.
Construction and installation projects
Unloading and moving materials on a construction site, installing a new production line or relocating a machine. Outdoors and on unpaved ground you choose diesel. See forklift rental for construction.

Which forklift suits your project?
- Indoors, on a hall or trade fair floor: an electric forklift from 1.5 to 3.5 tonnes (from €75 per day) or an electric pallet truck (from €45 per day).
- Alternating indoors and outdoors: an LPG forklift from 1.5 to 5 tonnes (from €70 per day).
- Outdoors, on unpaved ground or with heavy loads: a diesel forklift from 2.5 to 30 tonnes (from €75 per day).

What does it cost to rent a forklift for a project?
You pay the rental price of the machine plus the transport. For one or two days you go by the daily rate; from three days the weekly rate is more economical and for rentals of 3 months or more the monthly rate applies. A 1.5-tonne electric forklift costs €75 per day, €187.50 per week or €656.25 per month; a 1.5-tonne LPG forklift €70 per day, €175 per week or €612.50 per month. All amounts are excluding VAT. - Address of the location and the unloading point (paved, accessible for an articulated lorry).
- Date and time slot of delivery and collection; the organisation's time windows.
- Heaviest load: weight, dimensions and how it sits on the forks.
- Lift height and the lowest clearance (doors, tent, container).
- Surface: trade fair floor, concrete, block paving, grass or sand.

Frequently asked questions about renting for a project or event
Can I rent a forklift for one day for a trade fair?
Yes. You can rent from as little as one day; for a trade fair lasting several days, a week is often more economical. Transport is listed separately in the quote.
Who is allowed to drive the forklift at the event?
An operator who is demonstrably competent; a certificate is the usual proof of this. Trade fair organisers often set additional requirements. See Who can drive a forklift?
Can the forklift drive on a trade fair floor without leaving marks?
Yes, with non-marking tyres on an electric forklift or pallet truck. Mention in your enquiry that the floor must stay clean.
Is the forklift also delivered outside office hours?
Ask about this in your enquiry; we schedule delivery and collection by arrangement.
